On Saturday 20th June 2015 theMill gym will be hosting an Olympic Lifting Workshop for Members and non-Members. Olympic Lifting can bring a myriad of benefits to your training, the obvious ones being the development of strength and power, but also co-ordination, body awareness, mobility, stability, discipline and neurological adaptations. These benefits are readily transferable to many sporting arenas whether you are a gymnast, cyclist, rower, runner, swimmer or rugby player to name a few.

With the Olympic Lifts taking years to develop (and never perfect!) correct technique is crucial. Our Instructor for the workshop, Javan Waller, has a wealth of local, national and international coaching experience and will be guiding athletes through a day of Snatch and Clean & Jerk work.
