ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

The Cadre Challenge is a gruelling Special Forces selection inspired training camp open to all applicants, civilian and military, who wish to gain an insight into the Special Forces selection processes, and test their ability to function within and lead a team under duress. 

There are limited places on the Camp given on a first come first serve basis upon payment.  

PREREQUISITES

Prior to the commencement

Course participants must go to the link and complete the Challenge Registration Form

1. Personal Details form including the following details: 

  • Contact details;

  • Emergency contact details;

  • Dietary requirements and any allergies;

  • Physical impairments and medication.

  • Check the 'I agree' button for the waiver.

RECOVERY 

On completion of the Camp we recommend the following: 

  • Organise someone to be on call to pick you up at the end of the Camp (especially if you have a long drive home). 

  • If flying from interstate arrange accommodation close by (please advise if you require recommendations). 

  • Consider and prepare for the recovery you will need: sleep, nutrition, massage, hot/ cold shower, rest.

START-TIME: 19:00 FRIDAY 3rd MAY 

Camp briefings will start at 19:00 sharp so please arrive at least 20 minutes early. 

FINISH-TIME: AFTERNOON SUNDAY 5th MAY 

 

LOCATION 

ADDRESS: theMill Gym - 1 Coventry Parade, North Fremantle (map)

PARKING: Park on Coventry Parade (northern side outside Matilda Brewery) 

 

FOOD & DRINK 

All food and drink will be provided for the duration of the Camp. Please ensure you return the dietary requirements/allergies information on the Personal Details form provided. We suggest you eat a decent meal prior to your arrival.

  2. Camel bak

  3. Water bottle

  4. Sleeping bag/Swag

  5. Sleeping mat

  6. Head torch

  7. Spare batteries

  8. Toiletries

  9. Towel

  10. Thongs

  11. Swimming goggles

  12. 1 x tracksuit/lightweight pants

  13. 1 x training shorts

  14. 1 x swimming shorts/bathers

  15. 1 x cold weather jumper/jacket

  16. 2 x pairs of running shoes

  17. 4 x pairs of socks

  18. 2 x t-shirts

  19. 2 x long sleeve tops

  20. Sleeping gear

  21. Any medication

  22. Strapping tape

  23. Vaseline

  24. Sunglasses

  25. Cap

  26. Waterproof watch

  27. Sunscreen

 

VALUABLES

There is no secure storage area for your valuables. Please leave as many valuables at home as possible.
