This training is normally provided to military PERSONNEL and CORPORATE professionals who will be working in hostile environments, war-zones and undertaking high-risk covert missions. Challenge yourself and your team to learn and apply new skills in an urban setting.

This camp IS designed for adults of 18-years and older of all fitness levels. You do not need to undertake a fitness program leading into the camp, nor will you be required to undertake a fitness test while on the camp.

This 36-hour camp covers both practical and classroom training in managing risks when operating in austere environments. Risks which include the threats of information security, robbery, kidnap, medical emergencies and working with foreign nationals and their local authorities. 

The topics covered include:

  • Travel safety

  • Personal safety & security

  • Information security

  • Threat identification, assessment & awareness

  • SURVIVABILITY

BUILD CHARACTER AND LEARN BASELINE SKILLS

LIKE All OF THE COURSES AT THE MILL, THE HAVOC CAMP coverS aspects of life skills and personal and team leadership. Build character and teach the baseline skills of adaptability, personal-leadership, positivity, problem-solving, mental-toughness, creativity, communication, planning and team-work.

This course is perfect for developing team-work and espirit-de-corps.

SPECIFIC SKILLS TAUGHT INCLUDE:

  • SItuational awareness

  • Assessing and managing situations, risks, threats and people

  • Risk management & mitigation strategies

  • Planning and appreciation process for routine, complex and complicated tasks

  • Operating solo, virtually and in a team environment

  • Tactical considerations in managing day-to-day hazards

  • Personal protective clothing and equipment

  • Operating in and configuring vehicles

  • Tactics to minimise the risk of robbery and kidnap, as well as protecting personal, corporate and sensitive information

  • Developing technical self-defence and personal protection skills

  • The use of improvised tools & weapons

  • Medical planning, basic first aid and emergency casualty care
